    1. What time of year is it?  ­ It is winter.    2. What kind of office does Scrooge have? Describe it.   ­ Scrooge’s office is very small and dark.    3. Characters to describe:  Ebenezer Scrooge ­? Ebenezer Scrooge is a very cynical man who does not  wish to help others and only thinks about himself, doing things only for his  own benefit. He is a very hard working man and does not seem to care about  much else in life than working, and thinks others should do the same.  Marley ­? Marley used to be Ebenezer Scrooge's business partner before he  died. He used to be just like Ebenezer Scrooge while he was living: only  caring about himself and not doing anything for others. Because of that he  now has to live life as a ghost on earth as a punishment for his selfish behavior  while he was living.   Bob Cratchit ­ ?Bob Cratchit is Ebenezer Scrooge's clerk who works way too  much for way too little pay.   Tiny Tim ­ ?Tiny Tim is Bob Cratchits son who is very sick and dies later.  Scrooge's nephew ­? Scrooge’s nephew is a boy who values tradition and  religion very much. He is very kind­hearted and wants to befriend everyone.  He is the son of Scrooge’s sister Fan who is now dead.  The young woman from the christmas past ­ ?It is the first of the three ghosts  that haunts Scrooge in the book, and it shows him scenes from his past that  happened around Christmas time so he can change.     4.
