Filmanalyse af 'Pirates of the Caribbean'

The movie is about the old captain of the black pearl, who was offer for mutiny; he was left on an unknown island to rot and die. The story starts as we see Elizabeth as child. They come across an battlefield and rescues a boy floating on some logs. After that we see them as grown up. She is invited to a party, as there is a new commander of the fleet. In the middle time Jack Sparrow (the old captain) arrives at Port Royal.

He is looking for a new ship and crew. He rescues Elizabeth who is falling into the ocean. Then her medallion which she stole from the boy long ago sends out a shockwave. Jack sparrow get’s caught for piracy, and tries to escape when he bumps into William turner (the boy) which defeats him in battle. While jack is hold prisoner, a strange fog surrounds Port Royal. A black painted ship attacks the city, and immortal pirate’s attacks the civilians. They capture Elizabeth and treats her well. In the middle time Jack has escaped and William requires his help to save Elizabeth, so the steal the Interceptor and goes after the black pearl. Jack uses his magic like compass to find the island of death (isla del muerto), When the pirates arrive at the island they place cortex's cursed treasure in the treasure room. They need Elizabeth's blood to lift the curse. In the middle time jack and his newly recovered crew has arrived there too. Jack and William enters the treasure cave. And rescues Elizabeth while Jack distract them. Jack is captured and the black pearl tries to catch up the Interceptor. The Black pearl destroys The Interceptor and takes hostages they also finds out that Elizabeth's real name is Swann and the Turner is William's, so they leave Jack and Elizabeth on the same island they left Jack on years ago. Elizabeth insists to try help William but Jack denies and says it is impossible catch up The black pearl and save William. Elizabeth sees a ship in the horizon and she burns all the rum to make a big fire. The ship picks them up, luckily it is Elizabeth's father she convince her father to help William and kill the crew of the black pearl. They set sails and comes back to the isle of death. Jack goes in there alone to make a deal with Barbossa. He betrays the fleet so that him and captain Barbossa can fight alone. In the mean time William and Elizabeth has entered the cave. They find out that jack also is cursed and therefore immortal. Barbossa tries to make a deal with him. But Jack won't and shoots Barbossa while he throws the last piece of the cursed gold to William which drops it in the chest with his blood on. Barbossa dies and his crew is taken prisoner. The story ends as Jack Sparrow is to be hanged by neck until his death. But William interrupts and helps Jack to escape from the navy once more.
