The disadvantages of living in a city could be; the noise from a lot of cars driving around the streets. Gasoline stench you almost breathe because of the many cars, busses etc. There is lots of people and traffic everywhere you go. Your neighbors may be able to hear everything you say or do. If you want to play football or something like that you cannot just go straight down into the garden and play. When it’s summer, you haven’t opportunity to put a tent in your garden, if that is what you will spend your summer with. I the summertime you wouldn’t be able to lie-down in your garden and enjoy the sun in peace and quiet. It isn’t very easy to have many pets if you live in an apartment in the city, because the animals wouldn’t have a particularly good opportunity to run freely in a garden. You could never take a walk down the streets and be alone, which everyone think is nice sometimes. There is more crime in a big city, of course there is also crime in a provincial town, but there will always be more in a big city. More air pollution than outside city. Garbage in the streets is also a disadvantage of living in a city, because people just don’t care. If there is no garbage can, people just throw their garbage, and hope that someone pick it up. If you live in a small town, like I do, then you wouldn’t see so much mess, as you do when you walk around the streets of Copenhagen for example. There are many limitations on what you can do with your apartment, if it's a rented accommodation. There is usually no place to grow your own vegetables or many flowers.
