World Trade Center There was a terror attack at the World Trade Center by Al Qaeda at September 11. 2001. The World Trade Center in New York City United States was a complex of seven buildings in Lower Manhattan. Mostly designed by the American architect, Minoru Yamasaki and the engineer, Leslie Robertson. The Center is constructed in 1966-1972 and was the biggest towers, in the world at this time.
