Can a poor boy, who people think is gay, be famous and rich? That is the development Billy Elliot takes in the movie. He likes to dance ballet. But his family does not want him dance and tries to stop him. He has a father and a brother, who work as miners. They think ballet is only for the upper classes, girls and gays. They think, he should go to boxing, so he can defend himself. But Billy is strong and will not stop dance. He has a very good teacher, called Miss Wilkinson, who teaches him to dance. His mother is dead two years ago. Billy thinks he is the only one in the family, who misses her. But in the end his father allowed Billy to dance ballet, because he thinks that the mother would have allowed him to it. Billy is very good at dancing and he comes to the royal ballet school. His family gets very proud of him.
Billy Elliot is not good at boxing, he is good at dancing. He has a lot of anger inside, and when he dances, he gets it out, and he feel flying like electricity. He is a strong boy, because he will not stop dancing even if his father said that he should stop. He misses his mother very much, and sometimes he is talk with her. Billy is a good boy, who takes care of his grandmother.
