A New Big Wave of Immigration is Starting in the USA

It is especially the Hispanics who are immigrating to the USA. Many see this as a big problem, and as an Economist writes in “The Americano dream”, this will end up with about forty percent of the population being immigrants in 2050. But of course the problem is not the immigrants, who are integrating in to the American society, but those who are not.
Today 13,3 % of the population are Hispanics, and out of the 13,3%, 66 % is Mexican people. Many of the Hispanics has a low education, but they are doing all the hard work, and the statistics show that the USA needs the young working immigrants. There are to many old people in the states, and one-third of the Hispanic immigrants are under the age of 18 years old. But the states have to make sure that so many as possible of these young people get an education.
But as every one knows, immigration to the states is nothing new. Back in 1890, there were a mass immigration of Italians, Irish and Jews. Alone the Irish immigrants made up 10 % of the whole population. USA has also always been the country people talk about, when they what to start a new life in a new country, it has also always been talked about as the country of opportunities. Why shouldn’t people still be talking like this, when they talk about the States? The immigrants are also a very big part of many of the values in USA, all the cultures and different people. You could also ask your-self “Has USA been the same good country today with out all the great immigrants?”.
