Introduction: With this text in my mind, I personally think that it seems like a report written by students at my age. It’s mostly because of the poor and boring way the text is written on, it never take turns where we, as the readers, at no time gets occupied. In short, it’s the same told over and over again just in other words, but enough about my opinion.
Summary: The text is a 3 pages long report about immigrants influence in the religious landscape. The report contains an answered survey about what kind of religion the participants (the citizens of the United States of America) go in for and worships. We’re getting told, that the biggest population with the same common religion is the Protestant by 51% of the U.S., survived by adults at least 18 year old.
Comparison: First of all, I’m no lexicon. But what I can see from survey stats in the report and with my knowledge about Denmark and the country’s religion and immigrants, I can surely tell that we are pretty much in same evolution (besides the Catholics). In the US, all living people are very proud of their religion and goes to church every Sunday and respect it by own blood. Here in Denmark, the things are a little different on that particular area. The most Danes are members of “den danske folkekirke” but a big part of them, do only go to church for christening, weddings and Christmas.
