A personal narrative on hope and darkness

Hope The dark was too deep and I couldn’t see anything. When I looked at the world, it felt like I didn’t exist. It felt like people saw right through me, and I couldn’t take it anymore. That is why I had decided which way would go. I would never get the chance to see my friends or family again. I would never get the chance to live my life like a normal person. I would never get the chance to see the sun rise.I would only get the chance to see darkness.But then I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. It was the help I had waited for. It helped me through the harsh time, and my life was changing. It felt like I always made the right decisions, and it was the best decision I have ever taken. People began to see me, and I didn’t feel alone and helpless anymore. It felt like I could do anything with no regrets and no consequences. But then the light was fading away and the darkness returned. It was more painful and I felt more depressed and lost than I have ever felt before. I closed my eyes and was expecting the darkness. But it wasn’t darkness I saw. It was a shining light.
