1.Descripe the relationship between Celie/nettie, Sofia/Harpo, Mister/Celie.

*Celie/Nettie – The have a really good relationship, they will never be away from each other, or at least that what they wish. Nettie was the only one loving Celie, and Mister knew that, so throwed Nettie out of the house.

*Sofia/Harpo – Sofia loves Harpo with all of her heart, And Harpo loves Sofia. But Harpo have trouble with controlling Sofia, because hes father wants him to hit Sofia, And Harpo don't really want to. Then one day he hit her, Sofia gets very angry and puts her fist right in hes face. So he a blue eye.

*Mister/Celie – Mister rules everything in their relationship, and if Celie goes Against him she'll get beaten. Celie is very ugly mister say, and everyone agrees. Mister is totally in love with shug, who's this singer from the town.

2. How important are Shug and Sofia to Celie?

Shug make Sofia smile, and actually Celie is kind of in love with her. Shug also make Celie laugh and thats very rare for Celie. She have not laughed since she was with her sister. Shug also help Celie to find The letters from Nettie.

Sofia helps Celie when she stand up against Mister, and Sofia likes Celie, and treats her nice. Even though Celie told Harpo to beat her.
