Aron sat on his bed, there was no electricity in the room. The only light in the room came from the window. Aron was alone. He was in the hospital. He could feel a tear pressing, in his left eye. He let it fall; other tears were joining the trip down his cheek, and dripping to his lap. “how can this be happening to me, why me” he whispered to himself.
Arons mind wandered back to the time; he got the results of his tests. Aron and his mom were driving to the hospital, they were nearly there. “You are probably fine, it is nothing, I’m sure”, his mother said, but she didn’t sound convincing. Aron didn’t answer. His mother, tried to smile, but Aron knew it was just a superficial smile, that she was crying, herself to death, on the inside. When they drove into the hospital car park, Aron looked at his mother and said: what if this is the last time I speak to you, as a normal per…””Don’t say that”, his mother interrupted, no matter the result of your test, you will be my lovely son.” They stopped and Aaron’s mother got ready to step out. Aron did not want to go but he knew it was important, so he stepped out of the car and started to walk towards the lift, with his mother right behind him.
