Barndomsminde: Hvorfor jeg blev præst

It seems like forever ago since we last talked. But I know you are busy with your work and your family and so I am. Every Sunday there is full house in my church, so I think that my sermons are just as good as they are meant to be. The rest of a week I am helping people with their problems as always. I simply just love to be a priest, to help people moving on with their live by the faith.

I am actually writing to you my friend, because I have a thing to explain. Actually it is more an episode from my childhood, which I know you probably have interesting in. I know that you have always been wondering why I did not become a doctor as my father. Everybody wanted me to follow my father’s footsteps, and become a doctor. I wanted it too, but after this episode I wanted something totally different. I like the part of my father’s work where he helped people. Without him some many people would have died. That is also why I became a priest, to help people through some hard times by their faith to God. It has helped me a lot. But back to the episode..
