Northern Ireland has for many years been the place, where violent and bitter ethno-political conflict has takes place. The conflict is between those who belong to the Nationalist, Roman Catholics, and those who represent the Unionist, Protestant. The Roman Catholics want Northern Ireland to be part of the Republic of Ireland. But the Protestant want it to belong to a part of the United Kingdom. The Protestant are predominated in Northern Ireland, while the Roman Catholics represent a significant minority. The people are fighting against the opposite side, but the majority from both sides of the community has not been directly involved in the violent campaigns. The violent campaigns have been known as The Troubles.

The plot, or the theme of this book, is quite simple. It is a story about two things, war and love. I think we all known the thing, that love is created only to break it again. This book is the same theme as so many other books. The act of love that goes into a thousand pieces, and then be a good again, we all know. In this book the love is threatened by a war between two religions, the Protestant and the Catholics. It shows how powerful one can feel when a war is ruining everything around you. It is a good example of being in reel love, because they would do anything to be with each other.
