ACROSS THE BARRICADES I believe, there is one theme in the book, which appears again and again. It’s a very important theme, and a theme in many books. The theme is love. You can’t control love and who you fall in love with. It can’t be true, that you´re not allowed to fall in love with a person because of religion. There are limits for love for example the age.
