HistorySuperman was born Kal-El on the planet Krypton. As a baby he was by his father Jor-El sent to earth in a rocket, just moments before Krypton exploded. The rocket landed outside the town of Smallville, where Kal-El was discovered and adopted by the childless married couple Jonathan and Martha Kent, who gave him
the name Clark Kent.
As he grew up, he discovered his superhuman strength and decided to use them to help other people. By acting in a costume with his identity as Clark Kent secret.
