Summary
The book is about the 18 years old Indian girl named Jess. She is very interested in soccer and all over her room there´s pictures of the legendary soccer star David Beckham. Jess biggest dream is to play professional soccer, but it isn´t easy when her parents is Indian and want her to make food, be marriage and get a social life at home.
One day when Jess is playing soccer in the park, there was a girl named Jules, there saw her play and asks Jess for join the soccer team “Hounslow Harriers”. The coach for the team gives Jess a place on the field and enjoys seeing Jess play.
But then started the problems Jess´ parents want let her play anymore and she lied to her parents, so she can play soccer. But Jess parents find out that Jess had betrayed them and loose there trust.
The biggest problem Jess gets is the final match, there comes a scout from USA, but the match is on hers sisters wedding – what do you do?
