'I, Robot' filmresume og analyse

This is 21. Century and robots is a part of their society. Suddenly a mystery murder happens, and there are speculations how the crime has happened. Del Spooner takes the job as detective, so he discovers the reason to one of the robots has human emotions.

Sonny: A robot who have the same emotions like a normal human.

Robots take control over their owners by central computer, who called V.I.K.I. The central computer V.I.K.I. makes them to overprotect the owners, so control is in his hands. To stop the invasion it’s necessary to stop the signal and destroy V.I.K.I.

Time:

In 2035 in Chicago

Setting:

a future earth where robots are servants/assistants and owned by humans. The world relies in a huge system of robots. The robots are programmed to obey and not harm humans. They are programmed in accordance with the laws of robotics.

To control robot’s behavior

Sonny:

He has feelings and can disobey the laws. In the beginning Sponer suspects him of the murder of Dr. Lanning and being part of a conspirary.

Sonny’s dream:

Slaves he wants slaves to be freed

The rescuer is Spooner.

Susan finds out that he has 2 systems. She intends to destroy him but doesn’t succeed to doing it. She doesn’t feel it’s right.
