The texts are about how different people see the mind – body relationship.

The relationships in the first 3 texts are all about how our brains or thoughts control our bodies.

In text one you hear about couples who can’t be pregnant, even though tests show that there are nothing wrong with them. Giving up of the distress of not be able to have a child, alcohol and caffeine and then started practicing relaxation techniques like meditation and yoga, can help improve you changes of pregnancy.

In text two, the Hungarian psychoanalyst Michael Mr Bálint's says that all a patient needs is a dose of a doctor. Because if you have a good relationship with your doctor, you will be more motivated to take care of yourself and more willing to follow advice your doctor gives you. And by that you will be cured quickly.

Text three has two dilemmas about the mind – body relationship. The writer says that people still think that the brain is controlled by the soul. The medicine Prozac helps you overcome things in you day or you maid even say, get you out of a depression. There is some argues against it, for example: that Prozac makes people lazy. Basically the writer means that we have to restart our thought how we see at our brains.
