Why I chose this topic: Racism is a word that I hear on a daily basis. I thought that it could be interesting to find out, what really lies in the word. A racist is not a person who asks a foreign kid to be quiet in the bus. A racist is a person who simply dislikes another person for example because of religion or colour of the skin. There is far from how some people define a racist today till the racism that tormented America, when the Ku Klux Klan had a lot of power in America. Therefore I would like to explain the KKK and about how it was in America back then.
