Mr. Keating does not use discipline like the other teachers. He is very enthusiastic in his teaching, and not boring. He changes the whole system with his alternative teaching, which the other teachers don’t like. Mr. Keating gets close to his students, and likes to help them out of personal problems. The other really doesn’t care about the student’s life.

Because Mr. Keating wants his students to think by them self, and not learn something like poetry from a book where it is writing like it is the only way to understand it. He thinks his students shall think poetry in a personal way.

Because it is handling about an important part of the life.

His dad reacts very angry and disappointed. He absolutely not tolerates it. And especially not because Neil have copied his signing. The dad is nearly exploding. He doesn’t think that his son shall act, and he doesn’t want that the money he pays to the school shall go to some “stupid” acting. Neil can’t talk against his dad head to head, but when the dad is gone he not seems to be afraid of him. The dad thinks it is embarrassing that his son acting.
