Misfortunes rarely come alone: en by i krise

That year there’d been a series of crisis for the town government. To start with the workers at the biggest steelworks went for a foray. The news media wrote about a scuffle at the gates to the works. Two hundred police officers had to make sure that the busses with the scab could come inside the fabrics area.

Shortly after some anglers discovered that many fish has gone dead cause of a poisoning, and there were almost not any salmon’s left in the river. The specialist’s did many researches of the situation and collected all the relevant information, but after 3 weeks they hadn’t made any progress yet. The authorities feared that thousands of sheep’s, cows and calves that were grazing on the meadows along the riverbank would be poisoned as well. Or worse: Human lives would be lost.

Later the town was hit by an earthquake where 7 women were killed under down crashed houses. A lot of people were wounded including lots of children. The disasters happened to continue and the authorities stated the town in a state of emergency.
