Resumé af 'The Flaming Cross of Linda Blake'

The story started out in a wood in Alabama. A big man called Big Al, set fire to a cross with a cigarette lighter. With him is the members of Ku Klux Klan. They all looks identical, with long white dresses, and tall pointed masks over there faces.

Big Al shouted to all the men, that Doctor Jane Jones was a murder. She has killed 6 little babies, he said. He wanted that the cross give him and the men a sign af her innocence. But the cross said nothing.

In the town was a new Doctor, called Jane Jones, moved in. She was very clever, and her mother called it a gift from god. Docter Jane liked to help the poor familys i her new town. She don´t like that people was poor, and she helped two familys in the wood. The familys was so poor, that they conn´t give their familys the rigth nutrition. And Jane helped them.

Jane went to the welfare officer. She wanted to talk to the manager. He was called Mr. Murk, and he was a evil man. He don´t like the black people, and called them Niggers. He said the breed like rats, and he would not help them at all. Jane and Mr. Murk had a quarrel, and Mr. Murk threatened her. He wanted that she leave the town, and go back to N.Y. Jane slammed the door to Mr. Murks office.
