In 2005 some Danish sketch artist drew 12 drawings of the Muslim prophet Mohammed, it was not just some ordinarily sketches, it was sketches where the prophet Mohammed was drawn in ways that the Muslims fund insulting, in one of the sketches he was drawn with a bomb in his turban, this drawing was drawn by Kurt Westergaard. The drawings were brought in the Danish news paper Jyllands Posten. All over the world the Muslims became upset, and they felt extremely insulted. Muslims all over the world was demonstrating, and in some Muslim countries it went so far that they burned the Danish flag, and assaulted employees working at the Danish dairy Arla. Even though we in Denmark got freedom to say and express what we think and feel, they wanted the Danish government to apologize, but that was not a thing that the Danes was happy about, out of the Danish population which is about 5 million people 79 % the same as 3950000 persons, did not want the Danish prime minister at that time Anders Fogh Rasmussen to apologize to the Muslims, but at the same time 58% of the Danes could easily understand why the Muslims reacted the way they did. In 2008 seventeen Danish news papers, reprinted the drawings in a protest against the murder planes on one of the artist, but that just ended up with more threats from Muslims and demonstrations all over the Middle East.
