I'm a 15 year old boy from Denmark, and my parents originate from Turkey and I've experienced some odd things lately. For example once where my dad sent me down to the grocery store, a drunken man comes up to me and calls me a stupid-ass immigrant, and I know it was a fine word he used, but it hurts! Especially when he was serious! And then when he turned around he and went away he yelled ''go back to turkey you freaking noob!'' and some other stuff, and it kinda hurts. And thats just a drunken man, let me tell you about some other stuff that I've experienced. For example I was walking down the street when some old lady comes up to me and calls me a n*gger, and I'm not even black? I'm just wondering why innocent people has to suffer because of the way they were born, I mean, excuse them for being humans. Its not fair. Especially not for me. Im tired of people getting out of their cars calling me nasty names. Do they ever think about how much it hurts a personal individual? No they don't, it hurts, I know. Sometimes I get aggressive and can't control my temper, so I start answering back, but my mom and dad has always been telling me that I should fight back with my mind, not with my fists or discriminating words, cause then I will be like them! I don't know if it makes sense for you, but it sure doesn't make sense in my world. My parents tells me that I'm too violent for my own good, but I'm just standing up for myself, with defending words, and sometimes something else. But thats not the point. I want some ideas or methods or tips of yours that you can give me to either stop my aggressive temper, or my dirty mouth. Thank you very much, I really appreciate your time for reading my letter.
