Redaktørens vurdering
7 God
Personligt brev fra en 8. klasses elev til en værtsfamilie i USA. Godt eksempel på en engelsk stiløvelse, der trods sproglige fejl giver inspiration til andre elever.

My Visit to…

Hello family Johnson!

Thank you for the letter about yourself.

My name is [NAVN A], and I’m 14 years old. I live in a city called Odense in Denmark. I live with my mother, she works in a Kiosk, and my sister, she goes on a Danish gymnasium. We live in a small house, just around the middle in Odense. My father left me, when I was 5 years old, so I don’t see him anymore. My background is Vietnamese, so I’m little, and have black hair. I go in 8th grade, in a school called Seden Skole. After schools done I’ll go to start in a gymnasium, or maybe go to the US and go to high school. After school I don’t do so much else than just hanging out with my friends, doing homework’s, helping my mother with the house or just having fun. I like to watch TV shows, and I like to hear music. I also like to be around people, smile and spread a good mood.

I want to visit your country, because I think it’s going to be exciting and a good journey. I will have a good opportunity to learn more English, because I have to talk English when I go over there. So I can learn how it “really” should suppose to sound. I would have to talk to you, to communicate. I like to visits others countries, and like to see something new and different from my own country. I like to see how other people live, in relation to my own culture. My family doesn’t travel often, so I think it’s good to see new people from another country.
