Resumé af filmen 'Forrest Gump'

Forrest Gump, is a film about the life of a man, and all the good things and bad things he goes through. It all starts with Forrest sitting on a bus stop telling his life story to people sitting there. Forrest Gump is a simple man with little brain activity but good intentions. The film follows through his childhood from the first time he gets his shin guards until the happy ending. The only friend, first love and one and only was Jenny. Jenny was the only person who talked to Forrest the first school day, ever since that they’ve been like peas and carrots. Forrest’s mom cared a lot for his school, she would do like anything for Forrest so he shouldn’t feel like a retard, so he could just be like anyone else. Forrest Gump loses his shin guards, when he tried to run out of trouble, from the older guys. And then his back was straighten up. The movie spools slightly ahead and we see him as older. One more time he had to run from the older boys. He runs over a football track, while they are playing a comp in American football. The football coaches sees him running fast like hell, and then they wanted him on the football team. When Forrest finished his college he joins the army and they send him to Vietnam, with his best friend Bubba. The American army got bombed of the Vietnam army. Bubba dies and the General loses his legs which he blames Forrest for, he would rather die. When Bubba dies in the Vietnam war, Forrest made a promise to start a shrimp boat all alone. Forrest got shot in the but and at the hospital Forrest is getting pretty good at ping pong, and he joins the international team for ping pong. So he travels around the world playing ping pong.
