There was a man, his name was Tony Borg. He is 79 Years old. He has been living in shop doorways in Sid mouth, last year. Nobody knew what was happening with his life. Many people had not seen him in 60 years. He is Maltese and speaks broken English. Because he did not go to school in USA. Tony Borg immigrated to America as a young man and joined the American Merchant Navy. Mr. Borg lost his memory. During Second World War ship was torpedoed. The local in Sid mouth found out that Tony Borg was from Malta and they sent letters and photographs to newspapers in Malta. Tony Borg’s sister and cousin would visit him, because they missed him. Tony Borg was a nice man, but when he lost his memory, his life was finished. This man Tony Borg lost his memory in the big war. He had problems, and stress. He has a sister named Rosina, she is a nun. She never believed that her brother was dead. She always and everyday prayed for him and not for his SOUL! NOW, PERHAPS, TONY, whose real name is Georgio. He will return home to Malta with his sister before too long. Tony Borg worked as an engineer. His father and mother died when he was 10 years old. So he lived in a nursing home as a 10 years old young boy. He lived there for many years and tried to make his sister happy. He loves her so much; when she is going out with her friends, he says always take good care of yourself. He did not want his sister would die like his parents. Mr. Borg can’t think like he could before. His brain is destroyed; he cannot remember anything other than his sister and parents. The man tried to get a wife, but failed. The lady whom he would marry would not want him because he was in a way unusual man. He was not like other people. Mr. Borg was once the school’s nicest and sweetest guy when he went to school. All the girls loved him and his personality. He was a really nice kid at the time. Helped old ladies and men across the road. Playing with small children so they do not cry. You could not find a better boy like him. BUT! Then something happened Saturday night after a party at a friend. Tony Borg was on his way home he got a sore head, and hurried home. Ate a pill and laid down to sleep. Next day he asked the doctor what was wrong with his brain. The doctor told him everything. Nobody knew how it happened. His sister was afraid he would die. After surgery, the doctor asked him if he remembered something. But he could not remember a thing. The doctor asked his sister about how he was. She said he was at a party at his friend. So the doctor guessed and said that your brother has turned upside down somewhere or done something dangerous. Rosina came close to having a heart attack, be causes he really thought that Tony would die, said doctor to Tony before he was awake. It took 6 months before he was out of hospital and surgery. Tony still had problems with the brain, but it was ok. Rosina helped him through it all. But its hard to find a job for Tony Borg again. Because there are some do not someone who knows nothing.
