Letter to Amy about Danish school life

I am gratified that I, with the help of this letter, can tell you how excited I am to bid you welcome here in our little pleasant school.

First of all I would like to know you better, and how it feels to come to an entirely new school with entirely new environment? I would like to know about how you are, as a person? What you are doing in your spare time? In what age you started at school? About how good you are in school? Which kinds of work you would prefer, verbally or written? Which subject you like? And finally, do you have dress codes in your school?

Now I can tell you a little about me and schools up here. We start in school at the age of six, and we graduate from the school at the age of 15-16 years. We do not have dress codes here in our school fortunately, but some schools like continuation schools, wear dress codes. In my opinion, the best subject is math, and I also prefer the verbally part in the subjects Danish, English or German - which is only three out of eleven subjects for a normal 8th graded student. The subjects are; Danish, mathematic, English, Biology, Geography, Physic/Chemistry, German, Social studies, Christianity, History and Athletics.
