How do the main characters, like Tracy, Evie, and Mel, change throughout the story?

Tracy changes drastically, because that’s the main plot of the movie. She gets influenced by Evie and starts acting like the “cool/popular girl” she wants to be. But not in a good way. She starts taking substances, goes through things she shouldn’t be going through at her age etc. It damages her mental health and family dynamic a lot.Evie was already like the girl Tracy became, but it is revealed that she has a hard time a home. She starts finding comfort in Tracy and Mel’s house. But in the end, she betrayed Tracy because Mel refused to adopt her.Mel starts off as an okay guardian before Tracy’s big change, but she kind of acted more like a teen than Tracy did. I don’t think she was against Tracy dressing like that, but she was definitely concerned about where she was going with Evie and why she stayed out so late. At some point in the movie, she argues with Tracy a lot and their relationship becomes complicated. At the end, there’s a moment where she goes berserk and demolishes a bunch of the stuff in their house out of anger (or sadness?). But then she reconciles (?) with Tracy and says she still loves her.
