En immigrants rejse til det nye land

Hey [NAVN B].The trip was horrible. First of all was the ship delayed for 3 days, because we sailed on ground. So in 3 days we worked very hard, to fix the problem.When we got away again, people began to get sick. Almost a third of all people were sick. Someone died because of different diseases. Them, who died, needed we to throw over board, because they could infect us. I’ve met this guy peter. He is really cool, and got the same dream as us. He wants to be famous and, be a mayor at his own little village. He is from Denmark, and got a lot of friends who is with him. They have tried to teach me, some Danish words. But, I’m pretty bad at it. When we came to the US at the harbor, we saw a big statue. It was a woman with a touch in the right arm. People said the statues name was the statue of liberty. It was a gift from France. It symbolizes freedom.There were a lot of people, and they were in a good mood. I didn't know what to do, so I just followed peter and his friends. He said I could follow them, and help to build a very new village, and get my own land. It sounded almost impossible in my eyes, but you need to believe in yourself, to get to the American dream.Maybe we needed to travel for like 20 days, so it would be a hard, and a very exhausting.We are now at a hotel, which is quite good. When we started the trip, we didn’t knew anything. We just walked and walked, until we found something.After only 14 days, we came to a beautiful river, with trees, rocks and some beautiful land around. Peter was the leader of our ''team''. So he decided, we could stay here for some time. After 2 days, Peter and the rest of the Danes decided to, really stay here, and start building this new village. We started to organize us, and then we needed to work very hard, to get to the top. It’s almost like a staircase. You need to work hard, to get to the top. All was helping, all 77 people, was working so hard every day. It was really amazing, and all got motivated because of that. Right now are we started with the main building, where all can get shelter. All the women’s economizing the food, and cleaning up. Meanwhile the rest is helping with the building. I hope you enjoyed the last letter.Right now is all just fantastic. The village is almost done, by hard work. We started on 77 people, but now were around 130. Many have streamed to the village, to ask about citizenship. Peter really wanted, to name our little village. There were many bids, but it fall on Solvang, it means sunny fields. I don’t know why they named it Solvang, but as long they are happy about it, am I happy about it. I really don’t have to work that much anymore. If someone needs help, I’m helping them. If a woman is sick, then am I taking care of her.There is never a day that is identical. I’m really enjoyed with that. I’m living with 15 people in a very small house. So it's very crowded. The only thing I want and really need right now is you, and some private life. There is always someone around me. I hope soon, I can get enough moneys to pay for your trip, to the land of opportunities.
