The wind was fresh and had a strong smell of freedom. I looked down and saw a little girl running around in a pink dress. She ran around on the meadow, suddenly she fell. I closed my eyes; it was like I could feel her pain. Then I opened my eyes again, I was the little girl lying in the grass. I could feel the grass move because of the wind. I stood up, and started running around, as a little girl chasing a balloon. I heard a noise so I stopped running and looked around, but I was alone. Then I saw it, a big beautiful red eagle, it flew over my head, spinning around me one time, so I could feel my hair stand up from my neck, then it continued its journey toward the west. I couldn’t control myself it was like something inside me said that, I needed to follow the eagle, so I did. I ran after the eagle, there fell a mist over the valley, but I didn’t notice it, my eyes were focused on the eagle. I stopped and looked around; I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I stood on the cliff edge and looked at a big ocean with a lot of islands or more like a big green land with a lot of lakes. Suddenly I got a feeling of fear, I was scared, I didn’t know why, but I had to get away.”Driiing” waked by the clock, again. I looked around and saw everybody leaving the class room. I ran out to the schoolyard, slide down on my knees, lift my arms up in the air, looked up and screamed “WHY?” although I knew that nobody would answer me, I stayed in my position for a second. “What are you doing, first you are sleeping in the classes and now you’re just acting weird. I feel like I don’t know you anymore” I looked up and Alex looked down on me with a frustrated smile. I sat completely still, because I couldn’t explain it, I was changed. My name is Emily I’m 15 years and I’ve red hair. If you saw me on the street you would probably think that I was just a normal girl, but I’m fare from normal. No I don’t have super powers and I can’t transform myself into random animals, but I’m still deferent or I feel deferent.I live in an orphanage, near a lake, just outside the city. I’m not alone; there are a lot of children who lives in the orphanage. Although we all are very different, we have one thing in common, none of us know our parents. The orphanage is a big building, with one big living room, a kitchen, and, a lot of bedrooms, with a bathroom in each. There’re two beds in each room, but my roommate died last year, she committed suicide. She was something special; every time I was frustrated she was the only person on the earth who could help me. Since she drowned herself in the lake, everything has change. I was changed, which also is the reason that, the way people look at me has changed. That’s one of the reasons, why I love the lake so much. So when I’m mad, confused, or, sad. I always go down to the lake. I feel like I’m closer to Mirabel, my roommate, like I can feel her presence and there's peace around the lake, no people calling me weird or people looking at me, like I'm from another planet.I woke up and got dressed, did my hair, but I never wore any make-up, because I’m afraid of mirrors. I took my school back, and run out to my bike and got on my way to school. I kept having the feeling that someone kept an eye on me, so I looked behind me.I opened my eyes and saw the blue sky, I heard people talking and screaming around me. “Miss, are you okay?” I looked to my left and saw a man, probably in the forties. I stood up, and looked around, I heard a man screaming after me “I'm sorry” then he taking away by some policemen, I heard a siren and saw to ambulance men approaching me. “Excuse me, but we going to need to take you to the hospital”. One of the ambulance men tried to grab my arm, but before he could, I took a step back “What, no? I'm fine, where am I? What happened?” I heard the words come out of my mound although I didn’t understand them. “You were hit by a car miss”, I didn’t believe them, and I drove my hand through my hair and looked at my hand it was filled with blood. I took another step back, now I remember what happened. “Miss, we really need to drive you to the hospital” the ambulance man tried to grab my arm again, but I was too fast, I fled. I ran all the way back to school and ran in on the toilet.
