'More Than a Walk', en engelsk novelle

I checked the sky for signs of rain and set off early to make the most of the day. I packed my bag with a few necessities – a bite to eat, a bottle of water and heaps of curiosity about what the day would bring. I took off 12:30 a.m, as the weather seemed to be quite good. I said goodbye to my girlfriend, [NAVN A], I told her that I would be back in a few hours. I began my walk with some water, followed by a sandwich that [NAVN A] made for me. As I live in Los Angeles, I expected to see some rough neighborhoods. I had already seen a little group from a gang called, The Mutants. I am quite used to them since I once worked as a getaway driver for robberies, but I don’t do that anymore. I am also trained in kickboxing and karate. I walked a bit further down the road, it was warm, probably the warmest day of the year. Suddenly I got a message from [NAVN A], she wrote that I should buy some milk and eggs for dessert. I took the phone back in my pocket and walked away from the neighborhood. I got into the town, brought the milk and eggs, and now I was heading home.
