The very last night we stay in the house in Vermont, I wake up and see Erica sitting on the edge of the bed. I assume she is going to the bathroom and turn over to go back to sleep, but as I lay in bed only half awake, I hear her footsteps in the hallway. She passes the bathroom. I follow her into the hall and see her standing outside Matt and Mark’s bedroom door. Her eyes are open as she touches the doorknob with her fingers. She doesn’t turn it. She withdraws her hands and then wave her fingers over it the way a magician does before performing a trick. When I approached her, she look at me. The boys use a night-light that shine through the crack at the bottom of the door, and her face is barely lightning from below.

Dear Neighbours

Since climate is so important, is it not acceptable that garbage is laying around everywhere. Please, note that garbage belongs to the bins and laying on the streets. Rats and other pets are attracted to this - so it would be great if this could be changed immediately.
