First of all, thank you for the tickets! I had the best weekend of my life.
I did not go to any of your suggestions, because I didn’t think they looked like something for me, but luckily, the dates were just right for the British Grand Prix in Formula 1. I have always wanted to attend a Formula 1 race. Especially the British, because it is one of the biggest, and of course, my favorite Formula 1 driver of all time, Lewis Hamilton is born in the UK, so it is his home course, and the best part of the whole race is that he won the Grand Prix! The race was very exciting, and I even ended up meeting Lewis Hamilton himself on his way out, I got his autograph and a picture. He was very nice not only to me, but to all of his fans who wanted to say hi or have a picture with him, and he took his time. All in all, I think he is an awesome sportsman, and I like him even more after I have met him.
The race took place on the legendary circuit called “Silverstone”. I have seen a lot of races on that circuit, not only in Formula 1 but also in other motorsports. It has always been one of my favorite circuits in the world, and I have never seen it in real life. Seeing it was an experience in itself, and it didn’t disappoint me. All the 100-150 thousand fans at the race, hyped up for some world-class motorsports makes a great atmosphere. It just feels so much better to be there than it ever could at any football match or other sports, I don’t know why, I just think the motorsport fans are more friendly, where the football fans generally have a lot of energy and a lot is happening, but most of it is just trash-talking the other team. In motorsports, the fans are more like gentlemen. They are happy after the match whoever won, but of course, they are happier if their favorite wins, but they are more positive than football fans in my opinion.
