It all happened very fast. Joey was walking down the street; enjoying his day off. He could hear a weak noise of cars passing each other in the distance and bird song in the near, but it was all very quiet. All of the sudden a big black car turned around the corner and came straight at him with a screeching sound. Shocked he threw himself away from the huge vehicle, which headlights glared right at him. Before he had a chance to gather his thoughts two men, all dressed in black, had thrown him in the car, and closed the door behind him. There were several men in the trunk shouting about his right to remain silent, but he was too scared to register any of that. The only things that filled his mind were Suzie and the huge guns that were pointed right at him.
They were all very hostile, and he didn’t know where to look or how to sit. To sit still was impossible; his knees kept shacking.
They took him to an old warehouse, dragged him in, and placed him in front of an elder man with a check patterned shirt. He had his arms crossed, his sleeves rolled up and a suspicious look on his face. The old man planted his hands hard on the table before he started talking. He kept forcing Joey to talk, but he didn’t have any clue about what he wanted him to say. It went on for hours. There were loads of questions. The elder man tried everything. He shouted, spat, whispered, shook and even just glared at Joey. Joey was so scared and frustrated. He didn’t know anything about the drugs the man was telling him he knew. All of the sudden the man just stopped asking questions, looked away from Joey and lightened up a cigarette.
