The film bowling for Columbine perishes in the USA in 2002. The film is a kind of Documentary films about two of the completely great subjects in the USA the last many years, as a matter of fact violence and about that many Americans have weapons at home in their houses for self-defence.

In the film shows and investigator Michael Moore people hard it all is going in the USA concerning Violence and people's large possession of weapons. He starts with visiting a completely ordinary bank in the USA where it's going like that that if one opens an account in the bank, one gets a rifle in return, this shows how easy it's to get a the weapons in the USA.

On April 20th 1999 there happens a massacre at a school in it Americans city Littleton, several young men shoot and kill more pupils and teachers. While they watch pictures from the surveillance string from the massacre, go, sound recordings from the day where parents for children at the school call the police and cry and will hear whether their children are survived.

10 days after, hold NRA congress for Littleton listed by chairman and spokesman for NRA, Charlton Heston, here defend he the law to use hand weapons for self-defence at his home. In while he makes speech, are a counterdemonstration of the parents to those children as if were killed in action outside the hall where the speech is made.
