The movie” Bowling For Columbine” is a great movie that gives us a view over the gun situations in the U.S filmed as a documentary. The movie tells us about the gun shootings in schools and one of the famous gun actions in the U.S. They compare U.S.A with Canada on how different they are in the perspective of gun shootings. We hear about that in Canada they have just as many guns, but way less incidents than in the U.S. In Canada they don’t even lock their front doors because they are not afraid of somebody breaking in. The concern of someone stealing from them or shooting them is almost nonexistent. In the U.S they have to lock their doors. They have over 11000 gun murders a year and if we compare it to Canada they only have about 50 a year. We can clearly see how big of a difference there is between these two countries.
This documentary is a good movie to watch if you really want to get a look on how it is in the U.S and in Canada and how they react to gun homicides. The movie didn’t catch my interest, but it was definitely instructive. Its quite shocking how different Denmark is to the U.S, because it’s not in our nature to do such a cruel thing to our country.
