My topic is discrimination and I have chosen to tell about homosexuals, because I think it's an interesting topic, and there is so much to talk about.
I'm going to talk about how gay people have it and I will also to talk about my own opinion about it.

Homosexuality is when you’re are attracted to your own gender.
Many homosexuals are suppressed and looked down upon, because some people think they are different than the rest of us, but I think that they are not.

In 76 countries you can go to jail or get beaten if the authorities find out that you are gay.
In some countries such as Saudi Arabia gays will be sentenced to death, just for being gay.
In 56 other countries – especially in Europe – politicians have gone in a different direction and have legislated against discrimination against homosexuals.
How ever, even homosexuals who lives in countries where the law protects them, numerous studies shows that homosexuals all over the world are subjected to hate crimes. Even if the law says otherwise.
Hate crimes can be physical or mental attacks, which are made by people who are motivated by a hate of individuals who stand out from the crowd because of their sexuality. These crimes are called ”hate-crimes”.
