In many countries alcohol is forbidden to buy before you’re over eighteen, and in the U.S.A, you have to be over twenty one. This is of course because of the protection of the young people. Some people say, that the younger you are, when you start drinking alcohol, the higher is the risk, that you will become an alcoholic.
There are many young people in this country that drink. Some even start when they are thirteen years old, some start when they are older, and some younger. One reason can be, that the elder brother or sister are drinking in the weekends, and then they want to know, what it’s like being drunk, and then they might get attached to it.
One thing they don’t think about, are the consequences of being drunk. One of them is the hangover, which is not really comfortable, and the second one is that you don’t remember anything what you did when you were drunk. You could have done something stupid or embarrassing to your friends, someone you don’t know, or maybe you did a crime. But you don’t know because you can’t remember anything.
The consequences of driving drunk are extreme high. Not could you get yourself injured, but also could you kill other innocent people. Imagine that you’ll wake up every morning and knowing that you’ve killed an innocent human being, just because you were driving drunk. It would be terrible if you ask me.
