Skribentens beskrivelse af Binge drinkingFirst of all I would ask myself, what is binge drinking? What’s so bad about it and what are the consequences? Binge drinking used to mean drinking heavily over several days. Now, however, the term refers to the heavy consumption of alcohol over a short period of time. In the United States, it generally means 5 or more drinks in a row for men and 4 drinks for a woman in a row. Simply put, binge drinking just means to get drunk. In the United Kingdom, binge drinking is commonly defined as consuming 11 or more drinks on an occasion. This is more than double what is considered binge drinking in the USA. Binge drinking is very dangerous for the drinker and the people around them. I could come up with like, hundreds of different risks and consequences, but here are a few: |
