Sir Elton Hercules John (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight) is born the 25 march 1947 in Middlesex, England. He is an English rock singer-songwriter, composer, pianist and actor. Elton John has sold more than 250 million records, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. Elton has released 29 studio albums.
Elton having been named commander of the Order of the British Empire (a British policy, which included people who represented their country in a dignified manner, The Order was established on 4th June 1917 by George 5th of Britain) received a Knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for “services to music and charitable services” in 1988.
Elton has been involved in the fight against AIDS since the late 1980s.

Elton entered into a civil partnership with David Furnish on 21 December 2005. Their son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, was born to a surrogate mother on 25 December 2010 in California.

Elton was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight 0n the 25 march 1947. He was educated at Pinner Wood Junior. John started playing the piano at the age of 3 and within a year it became clear to his parents that he had a special talent for playing piano which he often used at family gatherings and parties. At the age of 7 he took up formal piano lessons. He showed great musical talent at school including the ability to compose melodies. At the age of 11 he won a junior scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music he said yes to the offer and decided to dedicate his musical talent to the rock’n roll genre.
