It’s not always easy to carry out the things we really want to do. Dreaming about it is easy. Though it less dangerous just fantasizing about what it would be like. The problem about dreaming is that it will not happen no matter how much you dream. It takes actions to make it happen. Achieving what you want, presuppose action – it might be easier, but not quite fulfilling to experience other people live the dream for us.

In the short story ”How the nurse feels” we are introduced to Tess who plays the Nurse in her schools theater production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Finding her roles character costs Tess a lot of problems. I believe this is caused by the fact that she has never experienced loss or sorrow. Tess lives, according to herself, a boring life. She has to take over her mother’s fabric store, but if she had a choice she would be living in New York, with three lovers at three different theaters. She is tired of the city she lives in, tired of this life she is living, so she uses theaters to escape. She has to feel what it’s like in somebody else’s skin.
