In the city of Verona there has been a quarrel between the house of the Capulets and the house of Montegues for centuries. The story is being told in a modern way with guns instead of swords. The families both own great companies.
Romeo and Juliet is a story about two young people, from different families, who fall in love with each other. Romeo is a Montegue and Juliet is a Capulet. Juliet’s family wants her to marry Paris. Romeo is sneaking in to a costume party at the Capulet mansion.
Romeo sees Juliet through an aquarium, but she is quickly taken away, and Paris starts dancing with her. Romeo meets Juliet again, and he takes her into an elevator, where they kiss. Again she is quickly taken away by the same lady as before. Romeo and his friends are recognizes by the Capulets, but Juliet’s father doesn’t want to make a fight at his party, so Romeo stays. Romeo and Juliet discover that they are from different families. But even though they are from different families, Romeo visits Juliet again.
They are so much in love, that when Juliet is told that she has been forced to engage Paris, she denies. For that, she is nearly kicked out. Romeo and Juliet get married by father Laurence. After the wedding, Romeo went to the beach where his friend Mercutio gets into a fight with Juliet’s cousin, Tybalt. Romeo tries to stop them and become friends with Tybalt, but Tybalt refuses and starts kicking Romeo. Mercutio tries to help Romeo and gets killed. Romeo gets really angry with Tybalt and kills him. The police inspector banishes Romeo from the city.
