The world has changed in the past centuries. And the humans are responsible. Centuries ago we discovered coal, oil and gas, and it led to easier conditions for people. They were able to keep themselves and their houses warm. The industrial revolution made many things better and easier for the humans, and airplanes, cars and all kind of energy demanding machines were evented. But now it is a problem. Because now we use too much oil, coal and gas. We use it even though we don’t really need it. For example when we forget to turn off the light, or leave the water running while we brush our teeth. These things are small, but if we all stopped this, it would reduce the emission of CO2.

Every time I shower, or trough food away, I always think about the people who can’t afford food or water, and I feel bad about it. But I am only 14 years old, and I can’t change the world by myself. We need to stand together, and think about all these small everyday activities. Global warming is a big global problem but changes must start with the individual person. Start at home.

But it’s not only the people who have a problem. The animals and the nature suffer. For example the Polar Bear. The polar bear usually use the ice flakes to hunt from. If the flakes are melting, the distance between good hunting places gets scattered with big distance, the polar bear will have difficulties to survive, and to find food. The polar bear are not built to swim over 100 km. The seals which are the Polar Bears primary food normally lay on the ice, but they can’t do that anymore, if there is no more ice. And that means that the polar bear have to swim longer to get food. And the seal is also in danger of extinction. We need to stabilize the eco system, and not only think of our self. Many other animals all over the world are in danger because of the humans influence.
