I will tell you about boarding schools I have heard a lot about boarding schools but not everything was good. Some people think that it's only rich people who live on the schools. There are also people who think that the parents sent their kids on a boarding school because they don't want them to live home any more. I don't think that you can put all who goes on a boarding school in one box. I think that there are many different reasons for why people are there. And I believe that the biggest part goes on a boarding school because they want to go there.

Some people attend to boarding in the hope on a new start. A boarding school has pupils form the whole world. The word 'boarding' is used in the sense of "bed and board," It is most people who are 12 to 21 years old who live on boarding schools. Some students stay on a boarding school in up to seven years.

Some boarding schools also have day students that attend the institution by day and return off-campus to their families in the evenings. Some boarding schools have only boarding students, while others have both day students and boarding students. Schools that have both boarding and day students sometimes describe themselves as semi boarding schools or day boarding schools. Some schools also have students who board during the week but go home on weekends; these are known as weekly boarders. A number of senior teaching staff is appointed as housemasters, they have responsibility for 50 students from their own house. Pupils generally need permission to go outside defined school bounds.
