I promised you that I would write you when I arrived here in New York. Unfortunately my laptop broke down, so I had to buy myself a new one before I could write you this e-mail. I came here six days ago, and I already got a lot to tell you.
The hotel I sleep on is close to Madison Avenue, one of the well known fashion streets in New York, so I went there the first day when I came. I didn’t buy anything but I took a look in some of the most famous boutiques as Gucci, Chanel, Prada and Louis Vuitton. The shops were very luxury and beautiful but expensive too, that’s why I didn’t buy anything.
I have been to Times Square too. It is much bigger in real, than it is when you see it in the television. That’s one of the things I like the most about New York. It is so big and beautiful with all the big buildings and that the city never sleeps. There is always something to look at and there is a really big difference between the people here. You can walk on the street and you see everything from a homeless man who begs for money to an extremely rich guy who drives his new Range Rover. Everything is just much bigger and more different than I am used to in Aarhus.
