A different summer holiday

It was Tuesday the 1stof July, and today was exactly two weeks since Samantha graduated from Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles, California. She had been waiting for this moment in a very long time, and although she had been sick and tired of school, she finished her last exam with an average of 10, 8. Her parents always wanted her to be a brain box, and she didn't wanted to disappoint them. In the end of the summer holiday, Samantha would be moving to Florida. Her parents had decided her to study on Stetson University, located 2.500 miles away from home. But what she really wanted, was to go on California State University, where her best friend Brian should study. Samantha and Brian had been inseparable since 7thgrade and now they would be going each their way.Brian was adopted from South Africa, when he was just a few months old. His parents got killed by a racial group called AL which means: Apartheid Lives. All the time Samantha had known Brian, he had been very attracted to all acting about Apartheid and Nelson Mandela. He almost talked about it every day in school and constantly found new information. The day before graduating day, they have had a big conflict. It all started when Samantha told Brian, that she was moving to Florida after the holiday. She had been nervous about telling him, so she waited to the last moment. Brian had been so shocked and depressed, that he didn't knew what to say or do. It ended up in a huge discussion. The clock struck 5 PM when Samantha’s phone was calling. She just finished a bath, so she took the phone, with still wet hands. It was Brian. He told her to go pack some stuff, because they were going to South Africa. Samantha got all quiet and didn't know what to say. He said he would pick her up at 6 o'clock outside the front door, and then he laid on. Samantha just stood there, with the water dripping from her hair. She made a decision. She packed her stuff, wrote a note to her parents, and then she left the house. After a couple of minutes, Brian turned around the corner in his little red car. He stopped right in front of Samantha and she went into the car. They said hi to each other and then drove to the airport. It was night and completely dark when the flight landed in Greytown. They got their luggage and then rent a little blue car. Brian was good at driving and they droved for a long time before Samantha asked where they were going. Brian started explaining to her, but she fell asleep. When Samantha woke up, the only thing she saw was four huge gray legs.
