We travel to lose ourselves and actually find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and to learn more about the world than what we know from our newspapers and the TV. We travel to bring our little knowledge around to those parts of the globe that are different to the world we know. And we travel to act like fools without having anyone watching us.
The beauty of this whole process is hard to describe. A good way to describe it could be the feeling of freedom. The feeling of doing nothing if YOU don’t want to do anything, unless of cause you’re on a business trip. If you are, you properly just want to go home. I mean if you’re working in an unfamiliar country and cannot go home to your family, and the only place you can go when it is closing time at work is a lonely hotel room. I would be bored as hell!
There are many different kinds of traveling. A business trip is only one of them. Backpacking is another. Backpacking is simply when you take a backpack and go out to explore the world. It’s a simple and cheap way to travel because the only thing you got is your backpack. One of the many good things about backpacking is that it’s like an adventure. Out in the world you decide whether you want to go in one or another direction. But it’s not a luxury trip like a charter trip. A charter holyday is when you buy a ticket through a company and then the whole holyday is planned for you. The hotel is booked and the planes are ready for you both to the destination and from the destination. And that were only a few of the types of traveling you can choose.
