What is a racist? Racists are the kind of people who makes the difference, between black people and white people. They only like their own people, with the same colour as themselves and see the other people, as wrong people who cannot exist. Who become racists? Everyone can become racists. You can be a racist from one moment to another. That is something you choose. Why do some people become racist? There could be many reasons to be racists. For example, if you repeatedly have experienced a bad situation, with one of the people with another colour than you. Some are just born in a racist family, and is educated to be racist.

There is more than one kind of problem with racism. For example in the US, black people have twice as big chances of being unemployed, because people prefer to hire white people. One another problem for racism is violence. In England there is a lot of violence, racist violence. Why is racism so a big problem? Maybe because in the 1950’s some restaurants called themselves “White only”, and some of the toilets were divided for white and black people. But then Martin Luther King began to fight for the black people’s rights. In 1963 he hold a speech in Washington, where he said the famous sentence: “I Have a Dream.” He won the black peoples rights back.
