The beginning The Ku Klux Klan began in 1865, just after the American civil war. The Southern States had lost their homes or plantations. The Northern president Abraham Lincoln made all slavery against the law; three months later he was murdered by a Southern supporter. After the civil war there were many “hate groups”, one of them was the Ku Klux Klan. KKK was founded in a small village called Pulaski, in Tennessee, with a population about two thousand member.
