Existence
The first Ku Klux Klan started in 1865 but died out in the 1870s. The first Klan had half a million members. The second Klan had between 3 and 6 million members. It started in 1915 and ended in 1944 just before the end of the Second World War. The second Klan was known as the terrorism Klan. The third Klan emerged after World War Two in 1946 and is still alive. They adopted the previous Klan’s customs.
